Downlow Update
It’s been a great year of ministry at Ardent and this summer will mark my fifth complete year. It’s incredible to watch students I knew in Gr.7 prepare to graduate, this year we have had a theme of reaching the community and we have seen growth with those who don’t know Jesus yet. This summer we have all the usual favorite events with a few new ones, be sure not to miss any of the great upcoming opportunities. If you ever have any questions, concerns or comments, we’d love to hear them, simply connect with Pastor Tim through email (tsesink

Summer Ignite, Aug 16th -19th
We’re off to Kootenay Plains located halfway between Banff and Jasper for an amazing long weekend of roughing it and enjoying the beautiful scenery. On this annual trip we’ll be going climbing, hiking, caving, rappelling, and maybe even some cliff jumping if it gets warm enough! We’ll be cooking over the open fire together and we’ll stay in tents. All activities will be led by a qualified leader who knows the area well. We’ll have times of worship, teaching and also times of just being quiet before God’s awesome creation. Parents are more than welcome to join us on this trip as we do need chaperones. For more info see our website or grab a brochure.
Parents Corner
Come on out!
I strongly believe that the child-parent relationship has the most impact on a student, far above any youth pastor or volunteer. Because of that, we would like to invite you to any event you want to come to (Just ask your teenager J). We also often need chaperones, especially for our overnight events.
We have a website?

Pick-up Time
At Ardent we run from (usually) 7-10pm. Three hours seems to be the ideal amount of time to connect with students. We make every effort to be done on time and we would ask that you pick up your student as close to 10pm as possible. This allows the leaders who’ve been working all day to get home at a decent time. Thank you so much for your co-operation with us in ministry.
